Lachendes Leben (1925-1933) avait le mérite appréciable de prôner une libre culture tout public, sans élitisme. La Vie riante (Lachendes Leben) n’avait d’autre programme que celui indiqué par le titre et se fera une spécialité de publier des photos de nudistes débridés et hilares très éloignées des standards d’autres revues naturistes élitistes mettant en avant la santé par un physique alerte et sportif.
